THREE HISTORICALLY BLACK BAPTIST ORGANIZATIONS TEAM UP TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND RELIEF FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE DECEMBER 10, 2021, TORNADO


FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE


Louisville, Kentucky | March 4, 20022 – The General Association of Baptist in Kentucky joins The Lott Carey Foreign Mission Convention and the National Baptist Convention of America to announce their collaboration to contribute $100,000.00 to the December 10, 2021, Kentucky Disaster Relief Effort.


A Press Conference with representatives of each organization will take place:

Date: Monday, March 7, 2022, at 12:00 noon

Location: Simmons College of Kentucky

1000 South Fourth Street,

Louisville, Kentucky


The Press Conference will feature key leaders from each organization to include:


The Lott Carey Foreign Mission Convention - Dr. James E. Victor - 2nd Vice President, & Dr A. Russell Awkard - former Lott Carey Convention President


The National Baptist Convention of America - Dr. Terry White, Secretary / Treasurer


The General Association of Baptist in Kentucky - Dr. Bernard Crayton, Moderator


The collaboration is representative of a long-standing history of cooperation between these organizations. Each works to meet the needs of those in and around the communities they serve across Kentucky, the United States and Internationally.
